The Frank Gehry Bridge opens to traffic

The Frank Gehry Bridge was opened today with the authorisation of use by motor vehicles.

Until now, and since its inauguration on September 14th 2015, only pedestrians were allowed to use the bridge.

The authorisation for motor vehicles has been brought forward due to the changes in the Deusto canal excavation timetable. This change has led to the closing, for both pedestrians and motor traffic, of the road that connected Zorrotzaurre with the Euskalduna roundabout.
